Hi guys,

This is a super quick update in order to see how we can help.

I've heard from a few people (5 so far) who had damaged pillows and I want to make sure we know exactly what the issues are if there are any so please do the following if you have a damaged pillow:

1) Take close up pictures of the issue and send to me at [email protected]

2) Give us your full name address and phone number so we can have the pillow sent back to us and send you a new one tight away

3) Specify exactly what the issue is and show the defect with the image

Important note: We know a few people have had questions on how to blow the pillow up, this isnt a structural issue but one that for the most part can be solved with some practice or better technique. If this is the case email me directly and I will make time personally to video chat with you.

One exception to this is if the pillow has a flaw on the inside sleeve, if so, take a photo and follow steps 1-3.

Hi guys so great news :) As you can tell by the videos below we are wrapping up the shipping process. It has been a wonderful marathon but we are now at it's glorious end!

Pre-shipping update

Hi guys,

So we're almost ready to ship, hurray!!

We made one final update for you guys with our pre-production sample. We will have all of the Candy Cane pillows in our offices in a couple of days and we will have a small boxing party and send them over to you just as soon as humanly possible.

A bump in the road and delivery times

Hi guys,

So first of all sorry for the delay on this update, we wanted to make 100% sure about next steps before we sent this out. In short we are running about 10 weeks behind schedule. We are super sorry for this but with Quality control standards and fabric selection we need more time to make sure everything is 100% perfect. 

We are taking more time and precautions than we had planned and we know this will cost us more time and cause delays but we stand behind this decision knowing full well that it is a total bummer by some of you guys.  It totally sucks to be coming in late with this kickstarter and we want to make it up to you by providing the absolute best product that we ca n and we are positive that this will happen.

Again apologies and bare with us as we finish up and come back to you with your product.

In the meantime this is a great time to recheck your address on backerkit to make sure it is correct just in case there have been any changes.

Production, production, production

Hi everyone,

We want to kep you guys in the loop with everything thats happening. 

We're about ready to press the button to get the wheels of production moving. A couple of updates on the actual product design and some timelines.

so a couple of things:

1) after going back and forth on the issue of the internal bladder and doing testing on the pre-production prototypes we have decided to go with a combination of an internal bladder and a tough internal wall on the fabric. We do this to make the design tougher and more resilient while being able to hold air super well under massive loads. It took extensive testing to reach this point but now that we're here we're super confident of the solution and we think you will be too.

2) The fancy bag that the CandyCane comes in will be  made of the same material and is looking pretty amazing.  See here the final sample, (will be in grey not black) See the bag next to the blown up CandyCane.

3) We have been able to get our QC super tight with a production partner that we totally believe in and have super high confidence in so we are can be pretty confident in CandyCane's ability to perform. Great news for all!!

Timelines:

So if all goes well, we will be pressing the button on production in the coming 10 days with a test run in the middle to make sure we are satisfied with the assembly line then we will begin fulfilment right afterwards. We are looking at a late March delivery with a possibility of April if we happen to hit a snag but we are pretty confident in things running smoothly.

So stay tuned, we're on a roll and moving quick to get you your gear ASAP.
